I know that there are many members here who also have an interest in Vespa and Royal Enfield, so, I thought I'd share this info.

Vespa of Lebanon, AKA Ebersol's Power Equipment will be no longer after Feb 26th.
The power equipment business is being sold, and the new buyer doesn't want the scooter business.

Not being a motorcycle or scooter shop, I don't think they ever sold very many bikes to begin with.   Scooters, and later Royal Enfield were more of a hobby for the owner, I would think.

All parts and accessories are 50% off, and they are deeply discounting the bikes too.

Here is some of the bike inventory (all new old stock < 10 miles on all of them) also see pics, below:

Hell - the RE is getting down to "project" money, and for a new bike on top of it.

Were it close and were I to be able to get that number to start with a "2" - it'd be difficult to talk myself outa it.

How fun would that be to make a "Trials" bike out of?

I have to say, I was real tempted to buy it myself.   I think that it is a drop dead gorgeous bike, and for that price, well, you know how tempting it was.

R.E. have just brought out the "Himalaya" which has the designation LS in it for "Long Stroke". Probably close to what you are aiming at here.

They still have two 2015 GTS300 that they will sell at dealer cost, as, if they don't get that much, they'll send them back to Piaggio.

They have one blue GTS300, $6,100, and one matte black GTS300 Super, $6,200.

The new 150cc Vespas are gone, just a couple 50's left.

They had a couple more preowned unirts in the show room today that they didn't have room for before.

I also have an Eldorado for smell the roses riding.

There in lies the problem the Eldo and RE are more similar than they are dissimilar.

I avoided buying the Red RE that they had for the same reason, I have my /5 for that type of riding.
