Knobby tires for a v7

This took a bit of searching but I found some knobby tires that fit a v7.

804 and 805 Series Adventure Trail tires from Shinko.

Tires come in the right sizes:

Front: 100/90 18; and
Rear: 130/ 80 17.

I also attached a photo of a bike with the tires installed.

Don't see the front tire in 18" size?  That page lists the 100/90 at 19"

You're right. I could have sworn I saw 18"...

Continental TKC80 3.25 18 at the front (equivalent to 100/90-18) and 130/80/17 at the rear.
They are two rear tyre really but at least are tubeless designed (good for V7 Stone alloy wheels), and the front tyres have exactly the same design anyway.
Old rule for mounting a rear tyre at the front, invert the turning direction.

I doubt all of that will fit on his tombstone.  And even if it did, he would likely use the correct, American spelling "tires".

In any case, the TKC80 are OEM on bikes that are a lot more heavy, powerful and fast than a V7. You can find plenty of reviews of guys that used them on long trips on bikes like BMW GS1200 ADV, Ducati Multistrada 1200, and so on.
For sure they are not comfortable and stable on the road like street tires, and I would not recommend them if the rider really don't want to use the bike in off-road. But I would not list them as "dangerous".

Things that make it go harder, stop better, improve the handling or enhance its comfort. It's a motorbike, not a Kardashian's bloody handbag.

If you wanted a bike that had better performance, better brakes or better handling, why would you start with a Moto Guzzi in the first place? Chances are you were drawn to the brand & model due to something other then all out performance, handling or comfort (especially with the premium that they command) and I bet that "something" was a synonym of coolness.

Well you'd be 100% wrong but it's not worth wasting time discussing it.
