I rode flat track, enduros, TT, hare scrambles and a brief attempt at drag racing, but never had the opportunity to try road racing.

I tried dirt track riding (175 Yamaha enduro,`74 Rickman Montesa 250, 250 CZ) but always came back hurt and gave it up. Maybe I was too aggressive for my skills.  Hardly ever really get hurt on pavement.

I had a 250 Montesa Diablo,  the engine built by Kim Kimball ,it was fastest 250 I ever rode.
I have seen the dark side of motorcycle riding both on the street and off road, I must be a slow learner, I'm still at it pushing 73.;-)
I'm going to ride the Arkansas 500 Dual Sport ride in a few weeks, which is 500 miles on gravel and logging roads in NW Arkansas.
