I'm so proud...
« on: March 14, 2016, 06:48:31 PM »
My 19 daughter went to Southern Spain to study abroad this semester.  She is having a wonderful time, traveling all over the content, ohh how I envy her, hope she cracks the books a bit too!

Anyway, she has never been a big Guzzi girl.  Yes, if you ask her what's the best bike, she will say Guzzi, and she occasionally will ride on the back with me, but it has never been her thing, but she does know my passion.

She went to Roma recently, and she knows to look for Guzzis, as I instructed her!  But none where to be found.  She Skyped home the other day that she didn't see any Guzzi, but she heard the sound crossing the street!  And when she turned, there is was blasting by in all it's glory!

In made my heart swell, to know that my little girl loved me enough to know a Guzzi when she hears one!  I feel Good!

More Americans should travel for study, business - for any reason at all!

As for her powers of observation, it's clear she is able to take what she has learned at home and make use of it in new situations

I totally agree about travel. All three of my kids were rotary exchange students will in HS... All lived overseas for 11 monrhs... Daughter in Denmark , son in France , and son in Italy while we hosted 3 exchange students in their absence.
Awesome experience for everyone !

I pray she never buys one or you'll be a blubbering mess.

Thats cool, Chad! My wife is a bank teller, and tells me she gets tired of the HD "noise" broadcast into the bank through the drive through speakers. The other day she heard what sounded like the sweet sound of a Guzzi, when she looked out the window, she saw a guy one one of the new V 7s. I was proud myself that she recognized the "Guzzi music"
