Alight you experts , any recommendations ? Have used Moen in the past with decent success , just curious about other brands . And yes , am aware of their limitations .

I replaced all my Pfaucets six years  ago with Price Pfister  and the only maintenance I've done is to soak the aerators about once a year in vinegar.
As far as the showerhead, I  drilled out the molded in restrictor cause I ain't showering with a little pissy stream to save 2 gallons of water. After-all a man's home is still supposed to be his castle[ venting over].

Dusty,

Buy what is readily available.  IMHO all about the same.
Unless you want a designer bathroom in that case I strongly suggest that you binge watch Martha Stewart then buy some pricey Italian Brand that will do the same job at quadruple the money.  :azn:

When we were building Castle Pretentious  over a 3 year period, Dorcia was still w www working, so I picked out about everything in the house. I knew nothing about plumbing as well as about everything else to do with building a house, so looked in restrooms of fast food restaurants, etc. to see what they used.
Delta was very common, and cheap. (Guzzi content) So, I looked for the best price , and went with Delta all through the house.
28 years later, we still haven't had that first problem, so I guess I'd have to recommend them.

:1: go in to any hardware store or home center and you'll find repair parts for Delta in stock. Not the case with some of the others and as Chuck mentioned you probably won't need  anything , but if you do. I had a pricey Kohler shower valve need new guts twice in twenty years had to order them and get stung as well. I have had good luck with some Moen stuff but repair parts are special order from the factory.
