Speed Bleeders - what model?
« on: April 06, 2016, 06:48:21 PM »
Does anyone here know the specific model Speed Bleeders I should order for my 2008 1200 Sport?  I thought they were sold on the GuzziTech site, but couldn't find them there ........ and the SB website didn't list them for my bike.

Thanks,

Bob

Bob,

Todd took them off his site, turns out his "other" vender was less than stellar (ask me how I know).   Go direct to speedbleeder.com, they are very helpful.  Check your stock bleeders with a metric wrench for sizing, and give them a call.  I always pay extra for their stainless bleeders to prevent corrosion and future breakage.  Also, get their reusable hose and bag kit ($6) for ease of bleeding - it's a SNAP!  When you're ready to do it, unscrew the stock bleeders with old fluid in the line and screw in the speed bleeders (keep a rag handy for a few drips), then have at it.

Cam, per your suggestion, I contacted Speed Bleeder.  Very helpful individual I dealt with (Whitney.)  Should have the bleeders Mon or Tues.  At that time, it'll be new front and rear EBC HH pads and clean fluid.  BTW - bleeders for my bike are 8mm x 1.25, PN SB8125L.

another $20 option that can be used with all of your OEM bleeders is this tool. I use this on all my bikes and cars, one man operation.

Neat!  Motion Pro makes some unique products.  When I owned my T100 Bonnie, I found their rear wheel alignment tool really handy when adjusting the chain.
