V 1100 Fuel Pump inrechangability...?
« on: April 16, 2016, 12:17:45 PM »

Will the fuel pump from a 2002 Stone or a 2003 V11 work on a 2001 V11 California Jackal...?

Are they all the same if they are the external, not in the tank type...?

Thanks,
Rob

Anyone here have one for sale...?

I would rather buy from family folks like yourselves before I go with eBay...  Which may indeed be one of you... LOL

Thanks,
Rob

After extensive research and crossing the Piersburg numbers here you go. Works great , right flow and pressure, I'm using it on my 2000 V11 sport.http://www.ebay.com/itm/New-Inline-Fuel-Pump-0-580-464-070-0580464070-For-BMW-Peugeot-Jaguar-Alfa-Romeo-/171656947968?hash=item27f78d2900

Thanks Guys, price was a secondary concern as the flow and pressures variables was incredible on some of the aftermarket  pumps I tried to cross reference.
I don't mind buying a factory part as long as the part is proprietary or manufactured to their specs, but when a good old generic fits the bill I'm all over it.
(Guzzi Content)  I've also found this on many of my other bikes' parts, and crossreference lists are your friend. Also knowing a good old school parts guy is invaluable.  As they say the thrill is in the hunt.
