New Moto Guzzi Door Mats Available Now
Push the large button sideways like you do to get to trip 1 or 2 but hold it for about 5 seconds and It will change back, keep holding until it goes back to the original menu
How far away is your dealer? If it is an easy ride, I would swing by the shop and have them look at it. Otherwise, I would call them while you are at your bike so they can try to walk you through it and confirm that there is indeed a problem (if there is a problem). The Norge button is a bit odd to use. It requires an unusually firm push in and (while holding it in) slide to the side. You will feel an odd click when it works right. My Vespa mode button is far easier to use (just push in momentarily to cycle through and push and hold to reset), but it has far fewer display options than the Norge
Sounds to me like a cracked spark plug boot. My Stelvio did something similar.ZZ
Interesting, I'm not really understanding but, valves were just adjusted not long ago by dealer?
A couple people have supplied the code, but haven't told you how to use it.With the bike's ignition on but the engine NOT running, press AND HOLD the MODE switch until you see the display change to CHRONO instead of TRIP1 or TRIP2. Release the switch, then press it again WITHOUT HOLDING IT until the display shows MENU. Press the MODE switch IN and hold it until it presents a menu of selections at the bottom of the display. Use the MODE switch to scroll down until DIAGNOSTICS is highlighted. Press the MODE switch IN and hold it until the display changes - it will prompt you for the code (28315). Press the MODE switch right twice to change the first digit to 2, then press it in to move to the next digit. Repeat until you have entered all five digits; when you enter the final one, the ECU will accept it and will present a hidden menu. Scroll through this menu until you see the selection to reset the service indicator. With that highlighted, press the MODE switch IN and hold it until you are prompted to confirm your choice. Scroll until YES is highlighted, and press IN and hold again to confirm that you want a reset. Once accepted, you will be returned to the selection menu. Scroll through each menu to EXIT, press IN and hold to select, and repeat as necessary to get out of this, and return to where you can select the standard display readings.
Thanks, sounds like the best thing is to swing by the dealer (15 minute drive).
Norge service code: 28315
now you know more than your "dealer"If you trust them..
Well, maybe I'm just an idiot. Is ODO suppose to read at the bottom of the display (small display) or in the middle surrounded by the black rectangle (large display)?
Well, on my Norge the full ODO has always been at the bottom, and has never appeared anywhere else. The TRIP displays move when the heated grips are activated, and return to their normal location when the grips are turned off. After 5 years I still occasionally discover something new about the dash display, so I accept that your description may be possible - but I've never seen it.
