Ohio,

That's a nice list of designs done by the firm. It led me to find this article from Motorrad, which has much more extensive material about Marabese Design in 2007:

I viewed it in a machine translation from German (via Google), and it was just barely understandable throughout. One of the co-owners favorite personal motorcycles was a Griso, while the other (Marabese) treasured a personal design he did (in 2001) for a new Guzzi eight cylinder. A small company run by and for motorcycle fanatics, it seems.

From a design standpoint the Griso really stands the test of time.

and now Piaggio has a design center in Pasadena CA.
Are they still using the tern Italian Design?

Pasadena ends in a vowel, so that's Italian enough.
