« on: April 29, 2016, 11:29:58 AM »
Wanted to contact C5 Performance but my email didn't get through.  Sent email to the address on the site (paul@c5ignitions.com) but didn't get through? Are they still operating does anyone know? Thanks Dave

I appreciate that, Dusty.  I don't want to get in the way of C5 making a sale though.

I'm currently working on a couple products for Guzzis, but it will be a little while before I have them ready.  As of now, I have a couple really nice points triggered CDI units that will interface with Guzzis that have points distributors, and provide reduced battery drain, better spark, and greatly increased points life.  If someone with some fabrication skills were interested in being a beta tester and working out where the unit could be mounted, I'd make him one at reduced cost.  The one I'm working on now is a CDI unit that is triggered by the Motoplat magnetic pickup distributor.

 Dusty
:thumb: :1: Bump big time. He presently runs his points Mille off a CDI unit. He also is bench testing a some new stuff for big block Tonti.
I do not remember what all he is doing specifically with Guzzi but he also makes CDI units for the old KAW triple crowd.
He does not crow much about his work on this list very much because he is a Guzzi guy and doesn't want to give the impression that he is here for the business.
Actually I met him through WG and gave him my original MotoPlat dizzy for him to experiment on. So that is how I know him. He is only 50 miles from me. His website is http://www.lakeserv.net/kaw/
and he offers a 5  year warranty  on his Kaw. electronics.

Don't know if facebook is your thing, but he's (C-5) on there quite frequently.  He was at the Wisconsin rally a few years back.  Very smart guy and even invited us over for drinks later in the day.

He'll get back to you shortly, sometimes he's out of town selling his products. What nice products they are too!
I've known Triple Jim for some time now but didn't realize he got into Guzzi ignitions!

Nuts, I thought I'd see you both there.  Bummer.  And I had it all figured that my daughter and Heather would do some riding together.

Apply for a free Google voice phone number, and you can make very cheap calls to anywhere (from any where I suppose as well) around the world.  You can dial out on a Google voice number from just about any phone, and have incoming calls forwarded to an existing number.  If you have an old android phone that is off contract, you can call free domestically via your wifi network.  The last time I called Germany I think it was under $.02 per minute.
