Exhaust gasket with circlip?
« on: May 18, 2016, 11:00:05 AM »
Okay, it's amazing how I can focus on one little stupid thing and try to understand.  I purchased some copper exhaust gaskets, the kit came with two circlips!  Is this a newer better way to install exhaust gaskets?  Thanks everybody,
Nate

Maybe they needed more weight in the package?

I can't think of any way they can be used to install the gaskets.

yeah right?  I'm at that decision making point of no return, use the circlips or just go old school and naked copper

Well, if you can find some place to hang the circlips, go for it.  But they're not part of the job . . . .
