I'm excited and nervous.....The TT Isle Of Mann Race starts tonight on velocity channel...or down load the app and watch and follow your favorites

I am sure everyone knows that this is the epitome of MC racing...absolutely nothing like it.

Almost all of the TT competitors race the Irish events , technically it is part of the same series , even though each race kind of exists separately . A couple of years ago the IOM TT powers tried to create their own series , being a bit arrogant . Don't think that went over very well , since most of the great recent heroes are Irish .

Trivia question , who is the only American to win a race on the Island ?

Look again....Coverage starts Saturday May 28th. Practice and qualifying runs in many classes all this week

Have a look on you tube...search IOM Dave Roper and ride the coarse with him...pretty awesome older footage.

Memory says the G50 footage was done in about 2010 , it just looks old . He blows a left hander on the back side of the course , and is very quiet while gathering himself up . Met Dave a couple of times at AHRMA events , if he was 135lbs he would be famous , looks more like a rugby player than a motorbike racer . Saw him standing next to Dick Mann , a good foot taller

Bradford racer Dean Harrison topped the Supersport leaderboard on the opening night of qualifying at the 2016 Isle of Man TT Races fuelled by Monster Energy. Harrison clocked 124.218mph (18:13.467) on his sixth and final lap of the session while Ivan Lintin topped the leaderboard in the Lightweight after posting a lap of 116.773mph.
