Fork settings and handlebar vibration?

Here's something I've never given much nor any thought to previously, but can fork settings affect handlebar vibration?

Dusty answered it.
From the Deep Deep South out in left field.  There are no stupid questions.  There are however stupid people asking questions.  🤣, this includes me.  😉 Hawaii.

Yes .

 No.

 Maybe ?

If the fork is a standard, damper rod style fork without speed sensitive damping, then any small jolt you hit on the road is noticeable.

Using too heavy a fork oil will also result in more jarring, since the forks don't have the capacity to flow enough oil in a short time.

Fit a cartridge emulator and the shocks and jarring should be lessened.

If you have adjustable damping on your forks then you might have set too much compression damping.  If you just have adjustable rebound damping and you have set that too high you could also possibly affect the compression damping or simply be causing the spring to stay compressed because there is not enough rebound time between bumps, which could be as minor as a rough or stony asphalt surface.

Pump your front tyre too tight and you will also get vibration from the road surface transmitted to the bars.

Having a front wheel out of balance will transmit vibrations also.

I think that's about it.
