God I love those Tennies, but $8500 seems a bit steep if the rollerization hasn't been done yet.
I'm gonna start a delivery business , Dusty's delivery service , you buy , I ride it to you . Our motto , it will get there , eventually Dusty
I think you're onto something!
Dusty,So you say you are approving my interest in this Tenni Griso, and would fly to Orlando, and then ride deliver it to my Villa, then drink my scotch and eat a steak from the Tiki grill? How much?
There is no such thing as a 'Good' flat tappet bike. None of the Tenni Green models came with rollers ex-factory. If it is low mileage and has been rollerised and the sump cleaned properly you are probably OK but no cast iron guarantees. This is the sad and uncomfortable truth. Anybody who tells you that the issue only affected *Some* years and models and that theirs, miraculously, doesn't fit into that group is either misinformed or dishonest.Pete
Reminds me of the old ARDU (Aircraft Research Development Unit) who were still running C-47's in the late 90's commonly known as Dakota Airlines, We Get There.... Eventually. 50 plus year old aircraft (at the time) tended to have a few breakdowns.
