I'm glad he took the initiative to do the show. I think he likes hanging with folks along the way to his destinations. And some of the stops are interesting ...liked RSands and Zero and the odd Nit-Wit museum/house whatever in the first episode. We'll see if he finds a pace... But, I kinda enjoy it so far.

Normally I will watch most any show with motorcycles BUT the two episodes I saw was Soooo boring and childish!!  I personally have a hard time with his west coast Duude slang, cloths, hair, hat soooo immature.  Would much prefer to watch a person that speaks with intelligence and more authenticity.  I will record it and FAST forward the particularly stupid parts, 80%, and hope for something that made it worth my time setting the DVR.

I was thinking of making a drinking game out of each time he says, "Wow, that's awesome."  Or , "man, that's really pretty." :boozing:

Or "You know what I mean?" after half of what he says.  "This scenery is awesome, you know what I mean?"

I'm up to three recorded episodes now, and during each one I have one finger on the stop and delete buttons, but I never do. The show moves along just fast enough to keep my attention and the bike shops are interesting. I think it is getting better as it goes.
I think Norman is doing a good job of conveying how it feels to ride a bike, which face it, is not easy to do. I know whenever I have tried to explain riding to someone I just get a blank stare back. It's a tough thing to share. The show is just base enough for beginners while not totally boring those of us who have been there, rode that. Imogenocide was really nice to look at too.....

Excellent concept, but, so far, relatively weak execution, IMO.

This last episode, 3 I believe, is the best yet.  Its the best weekly motorcycle show on TV as far as I know.

I agree, third episode is an improvement. My wife is willing to watch the show with me although she keeps talking about how nasty looking his hair is, as others here have written.  We record it so we can fast forward through most of the advertisements.  Nice to see sponsors like BMW and H-D. Their commercials feature products that appeal to hipper, younger riders, like the R-nine-T and Sportster Roadster.

The Dragon, 28 and Cherohala Skyway (not shown). Whiskey makers and classic bike guy in the Ga Mountains.

Even those guys can't screw it up.

Not difficult - in my market, I think it may be the only weekly motorcycle show. Tried watching a bit - yawn...  :undecided:

From what I saw - it seemed quite a bit superficial.  But I think most TV shows about bikes are; the seem to be aimed at non riders.

The family and I watched episode 3.  I agree that it was the most interesting so far, but I was disappointed that they said they were going to ride the Dragon, but then claimed to skip it because they got there on a weekend.  I wonder if the local riders, businesses, and/or police asked them to not promote it on TV, since it's already over-promoted and overcrowded on weekends.

On the fence...I like his narration more than the weak dialogue. Good aerial filming. Imogene would have looked much better riding a red Griso.

Maybe I am gullible, but Norman just seems like another guy who is passionate about bikes, and I like how he doesn't seem the least bit full of himself.  Refreshing...

Tried it again last night. Hell, he seems like a right nice fella but for me too... very dull in the end. Kind of like one of those Utoob videos which start out interestingly enough but just keep going on and on and on....

Wasn't that weird? I liked him rocking' that Sporty but all I could think of each time they showed him from the rear is how much the inside of my legs would hurt from riding like that... or the outsides if he was in fact holding them out.

It was great dog distraction background noise here. I can't really find anything wrong with it - other than his interpretation of hygiene/presentation - it's just that I can't find enough RIGHT with it either to go out of my way to tune it in.

Boring guy, boring dialogue, luke warm riding and scenery.  My suggestion, record it then fast forward till there is a nugget of interest.  Takes me 15 min. to get through the whole show.

Seems, umm, OK.
