When I was looking around YouTube for some Jeff videos a few years ago, I came across this one.  When I heard the bass, it struck me as unusually good, and when I saw the young thing playing it, I wondered if it was his daughter.  But no, just Tal.  I've been a fan of hers since then.

Jeff keeps his youthful good looks with hair dye and a neck scarf or other wattle cover.

Got tickets to see him with Buddy Guy in Chicago this summer. Just need to decide who to invite.

Eric Clapton has nerve damage from peripheral neuropathy that makes playing guitar 'hard work'

That's very bad news.  A friend of mine has that, and it's bad enough that he is out of bed only five hours a day.  He says when he's up, it feels like he's constantly standing on hot coals.

I love Jeff Beck. He's doing a good imitation of being immortal. Looks like he works out, fit and supple, plays like a god, has spunky Tal loving him in the background and creates amazing music.
Meanwhile he uses his money to build hotrods and does a lot of that work himself. What a guy!
Saw him in concert at The Enmore in Sydney a few years ago. Surreal playing, a total master of the Stratocaster.

I thought he had to retire due to tinnitus - he must have found a good acupuncture source or something.
That's the combustion chamber of the turbo shaft. It is supposed to be on fire. You just don't usually see it but the case and fairing fell off.

Or like Stephen Stills he plays by sensing the harmonics .

Rave Up is one of my favorite albums.  Hard rocking and amazing guitar.

I bought a Jeff Beck Tone Bender box for a guy in the service that brought it back from England, being make in a basement of the VOX company.  It was one of the first fuzz boxes anybody saw here in the states.

God that was a long time ago!
