Hey, Folks. New to the board. Met several Guzzi owners at the VA rally last week. Thanks for the education. Anyway, looking at the Stelvio and wondered about a '13 that has been potentially stored dry. Dealer owned and never titled. Any thiughts on whether I should buy and if so, how much I should pay. My big concerns are with dry seals, etc. Thanks.

If it is dealer owned and never titled it should come with new bike warranty.  Than might make the decision easier.

As noted, if dealer-owned and never titled, the warranty clock has still not started ticking. Three years is certainly a bit of time, but not too bad for things like seals and such. I would check the date stamps on the tires, as they may not have been that fresh when first installed. If the dealer is honest and knowledgeable, they will do a thorough PDI (even if they did one when the bike was assembled). Ask them to do things like lubing the swingarm - even when the bikes hadn't been sitting, there was often inadequate lube in this area. Fresh fluids all around, check the fork seals for leaks in the first thousand miles, take photos right away if you see anything, and enjoy both the savings and the bike!
