Instructions Needed: CalVin Cam Position Sensor Replacement?
«

Hello All,
Could somebody do me a huge favor and send me instructions on how to replace the CalVin Cam Position sensor? I understand that calipers and fine measurements are needed, among other things.
My new cam sensor will be arriving from Harper's this afternoon, so I'm excited to try to get the bike running.
Thanks!
Ryan

0.7 to 0.9mm
I just checked mine with a blob of JBQuick on the sensor, screwed it down with an existing spacer then measured the blob with calipers once it had time to harden.

Just put it on with the same spacer that's in there now, it looks like a metal gasket.. don't waste time measuring unless it doesn't work once installed. don't over tighten the bolts or you can strip the threads out of the block.
