Tasmanian Devils (GC)
« on: July 08, 2016, 04:53:17 PM »
Look who just dropped in at our place from Tasmania. Bought the bike sight unseen in Nova Scotia and so far, have ridden trouble-free, half way across the continent - the first part of their two month trip. It's a Loop-frame Guzzi, of course - the ultimate usable classic.

And a couple of very nice motorcycles also !
That's the combustion chamber of the turbo shaft. It is supposed to be on fire. You just don't usually see it but the case and fairing fell off.

I can't help but from that there should have been a third Loop there with those other two.  Maybe a blue one...

That would have been nice Shaun - but I wasn't sure of the dates. These folks are the real deal. For instance, in 1994 K rode her V7Sport around Australia solo . Quite a gal.

It is exceedingly rare that a mating pair are seen outside of their natural habitat. Nick , did you manage to sedate and tag them so we can track their movements ?

After resting briefly at their feeding grounds in Prince Edward County, I believe their migration will proceed generally westerly but have no real idea of their flight path. Patrick may have a better sense but they are flighty things, rarely settling in one spot for long.
