1983 SP1000 Indicator problem
« on: July 10, 2016, 08:38:55 AM »
I have a 1983 SP1000.
Today the indicators stopped flashing, both bulbs remaining on (this occurs n/s and o/s) is this the flasher unit? I don't have a riders manual, had a quick look behind the side panels. Is it the small cylindrical unit at the front of the o/s panel? Your help is appreciated.

Yes that's it, should be in a rubber holder. It's common stuff for a car, they also make an electronic version that works well.

The electronic flasher units work well.
Might also be time to give the earths a clean.
