'79 CX 100 Coil install - photo?

Hi All - I was about to replace coils/regulator 2 years ago but injured my back just after stripping out the old parts, did not take a before photo, cannot find a shot of the original configuration. I am back on my feed and picking up the bits now, don't want to install things upside down...

Anyone have a pic or description - Coil tops up or down?

I believe they originally were installed upside down.

Yes, coils are upside down when mounted correctly.

Here's a photo for you. Hope ift goes through ok, I had taken this pic a couple of yrs ago during a tear down of my CX100,,, it's worth a thousand words,,,lol.

I wish my coils were still there,,, went to the big Bosch Blues,,, didn't fit for me,,,

Hey.....I have a starter/solenoid unit that looks like that.  :grin:  Oh...yeah thread content.  Mine coils look like that too.
