Organizing the garage...with a custom touch
« on: July 28, 2016, 11:32:11 AM »
Have enjoyed completely reorganizing my garage and installed 5 new steel cabinets up on the wall.  Beautiful quality cabinets on close out from Lowe's at super great prices, did all the framing and install myself over the last couple of weeks in the evenings mounted to 1x4's for reinforcement to the studs, then the cabinets mounted to the 1x4's.  Decided it would be fun to also add some custom magnets, so I had some made up...as long as I remember to put things where they belong!  Now to do the Norge maintenance this weekend with so much free space to use!  Loving it!

Nothing quite as satisfying as a newly organized, fettled, and farkled garage.

The quality of your work done in there from now on will double, I guarantee it!!

Love it...Farkled Indeed!  Now to hang the Moto Guzzi banner raffled off in John Day and finish staining the concrete floor!   Might even have to install a flat screen on the wall as well...

That's what I first thought.   That's nicer than my house ....

I need to get out in MY shop and get it organized.   A good example has been set ....

Looking good.  I'm beyond organizing my garage as I have too much crap piled up and scattered around.

Thanks guys...great feedback!  Yup...it does take effort!!  Luckily I didn't have a lot of junk, just needed to organize it better.

Epoxy on the floor, ditch the tee bee idea.

Correct...garage floor stain is this weekend's project...found a nice color...should look great once I'm done.

Well...actually I use my Engel 45T which is my expedition fridge for adventures...just enough to hold about 50 bottles of liquid nourishment!!  Leaving the large space for the ping pong table, Moto and 911!!

I'd have to sell some bikes to make room in mine.  It does make for a great climate controlled storage/garage for motorcycles.
