Me too.

There's one available in ABQ as well, but, don't know if it is listed.  I think it would be more money than that one though.

Nice but too expensive, especially with the shipping costs.

I think the Abq. bike is a Tri King.  Asking price is around $50K

The Triking is a nicer and more expensive Morgan Replica kit.

Every time I think of triking I remember Richard Hammond's comment on potholes and how you have to choose between getting hit in the side or hit in the back.

At least on a Guzzi you can stand and let your legs deal with the hit.

A few years back, Morgan began producing these 3-Wheelers again using the S&S Wedge motor.

It does indeed...the S&S motor is pretty cool in the Morgan...and it flies...no problem keeping up with the Norge.  Buddy of mine has a British racing green one...very cool...has a removable steering wheel like a Formula 1 car, nice leather interior, a real head turner.

I have a friend with a well-sorted JZR powered by a square-fin Guzzi. He follows us on some fairly spirited rides. He laughs about it sometimes that on the curves at 80 MPH he sometimes feels that rear wheel sliding sideways. He hasn't crashed yet.

Recently, he showed up to breakfast with our gang of Guzzi riders and others and planned to follow us on a day-ride that I lead with the Stelvio. When he pulled into the parking lot, I saw him fiddling with something in the cockpit.  I went over and he showed me that the steering wheel retaining pin had worked out and his steering wheel had pulled off the splines.

He seemed to be nonchalant about it and felt he could just hold the wheel on the shaft! We all got a laugh out of that.

No way, we searched the small cockpit and finally found the retaining pin.  Our trip was all day and included some nice curves and spirited speeds.  I kept hoping his steering wheel pin didn't work out again. It didn't and he made the entire trip.

Manual.  Most of the Guzzi-based kits use the Guzzi transmission. The official Morgan 3W also uses a manual shift.

I used to want one of these.  I wanted one of the old vintage, genuine Morgans with a Matchless motor out front.

A couple of years ago, I saw one at a British car show and was admiring it.  The owner came over and we had a long talk.  I told him that I had been wanting one. He began telling me about the close-knit network of owners in the USA and how I may could find one.

He paused and looked at me standing there at 6'2" and asked if I had ever gotten into one of the originals to which I said "no." He cautioned me that I needed to try that before buying one and suggested I try to sit behind the wheel of his.  I tried.  Couldn't do it.

Those things are so small and tight that you'd have to be less than 5-5 to get in it and that would be tight.

This owner was not tall but, even he, had cut away a piece of the wooden dash to aid his entrance behind the wheel.

I got to the point in my efforts where I thought I could force myself under the dash but then I thought about how in the heck I'd get out!

They're not for me.  Not the originals.

If I'm not mistaken, the current modern Morgans using the S&S motor are using a Miata manual transmission...I'll have to double check to be sure.

If someone is thinking of building one, the pound is down to $1.3 right now.
The Pembleton Kit is 5,000 pounds or about $6500.

One of the MGNOC members built one in SoCAl and did a series of articles on the build.  IIRC he also posted some links for vids.  Looked like a good build.  :thumb:  Greg Field sent me an alert on a CL listing of one in Volcano Village that a guy had for sell.  He wanted $22K.  Too much.
