That is a beautiful motorcycle, I had a one of that same vintage, but mine didn't look near that good.

Loved my /5, problem was I found it when looking for my first guzzi.
Delayed my entry into gooseville by 10 yrs.!

Well, that's the problem, isn't it?   That's a beautiful, functional (so says the ad) bike.   It's being sold as a Show Bike and will go for Show Bike money.

But I can't use a Show Bike.   I have to have a Ride Bike.   And once I rode it, it would knock thousands of dollars off of its value as a Show Bike and it would only be worth what a Ride Bike is worth ...

So I guess I'm out ....

 Well Taz , seems we are both wrong , bidding is at $7500.00 with six days left . Guess maybe the /5's are getting some real respect these days , at least the R75 .
