New to forum V7 Classic owner
« on: August 03, 2016, 05:14:38 PM »
Just got a 2009 V7 Classic yesterday with 7010 miles. Fantastic shape.

Have a few bikes, just wanted a dedicated lane splitter for Southern California commuting. First Guzzi.

It has to be the most pedestrian motorcycle that I have rode in the last decade or so. Not in a bad way, mind you, just so easy to ride. Within 20 minutes or so, I had it pretty much figured out. She's not fast, but fast enough.

Extremely happy so far.

Welcome, and congrats. I too have a V7 and I too live in SoCal; I live in Mission Viejo, work in Anaheim. I hope to see you about. Where are you located, what color V7?

Commute from Carpinteria to Goleta daily. My truck was just eating gas, so I decided to join the lane splitter club. All my bikes are either vintage/race/chopper, so I needed something more traffic friendly.

Mine is that gorgeous pearl white. I just might see you about on the 126!

Already put 148 miles on it in less than 48 hours. Absolutely love the Guzzi ride quality. My commute is only 20 miles.

Sneaky fast.  Like most Moto Guzzis it likes to rev quickly and run a few mph over the posted limit. :copcar:
