Wait a minute...I just saw your post from 2 days ago....you picked up that thing in CT? Probably not more than 40 min from me. Did you just stumble upon it, like a "...friend heard a guy has an old motorcycle" kind of thing, or was this publicly advertised on CL, and I didn't have the presence of mind to look that day?! Doh!

I call this my $200 Guzzi that I picked up last month:



He offered it for $200, but I paid the guy $500 so I didn't feel too guilty.  30K miles.  Needed a clutch adjustment (he thought clutch/trans were bad), new tires, and fixed a broken drain plug in rearend (an $8 part).  Changed fluids and rode it the following weekend 300 miles with no issues.



I think he couldn't use the linked brakes either.   :rolleyes: The old rear tire:
