Very neat bike, lots of unobtanium parts on it too.

There was a 0 miles version popping up on e bay a while back,  that was priced close to 5 figures. This one has a very realistic price!

I think this is a very cool, collectible bike...and at a fair price! :1: :thumb:   I wish I had the extra lettuce.  :undecided:

I am sure parts are most THAT "unobtanium"***  - - would just have to source in the UK or Europe.

*** No worse than trying to find a white-face Veglia Borletti electronic tach for a '98 Centauro GT!!  :cheesy:  :undecided:

I drove a 1000 S as they were new on the market, plenty of torque, ~115 PS, goes really forward, good sound! Hacking chain when you go below 3000 rpm and accelerate again, like Duc's, don't forget to downshift. The look of the MZ 1000 S  is not really my cup of tea, but it's a good and fun to ride motorcycle which was designed too futuristic as it's time, combined with unlucky marketing. A little bit like the NSU RO 80, but without the technical issues. The prices for these bikes are rising, this is a more than a fair offer.

I think MPH carried them a few years back, think they had a new one like this one they couldn't give away, but my memory is not as sharp as it used to be...

IIRC, Polaris bought it from MPH to study the engine for possible use in a watercraft. They were thinking about buying the rights and tooling to produce it.

Polaris has deep pockets, I wish they would rescue EBR.. He's got a dual purpose bike in his head to kill the KLR and GS in one thump(er).
