New Moto Guzzi Door Mats Available Now
I have never known a case of a LEO doing a roadside check . Dusty
Harleys have had them since about 1994. Push both turn signal buttons at the same time to turn them on. Repeat to turn them off./QuoteExcept the newer H-D's. I recently took a demo ride on a 2017 Roadglide, I was curious about the new Milwaukee 8 engine and suspension upgrades. Somehow on the ride I got the flashers going, so I pushed both signal buttons simultaneously, but the flashers remained on. Seems they've added a button on the right switch housing to control the flashers. The button is red has a white triangle within a triangle, like you see on newer cars. Progress?

My 1992 BMW K75s has hazards. FWIW: These early K-bikes were also the first to have ABS.
Never heard of hazard lights being mandatory. After 1973 head lights and turn signals are.
MY Lemans lll had them, K75, I think my SP did. I don't understand why they don't come on new bikes along with self canceling turn signals, my 77 Yamaha 650 had those!
I THOUGHT my 93 Harley had them too, but that could be fading memory.I will say that I've had them on most (if not all of my Harleys), my oilhead, my CARC, etc. so I was genuinely pissed to find both the M696 and the V7 didn't have them.
Well... they should be mandatory on Harleys, because they are so often stranded on the side of the road. (just a little good-natured harley-bashing... don't get mad. It was too easy of a target. )As for self-cancelling signals. Yeah, I love those on my K75s too. They go off after traveling a certain distance, but they stay on indefinitely when stopped. Mostly that's good, but they go off before I'm done changing multiple lanes on SoCal freeways - so I have to activate them twice to finish my changes.
Love the hazard lights for conspicuity when necessary. Had occasion to use them the other day slowing to a foggy stop in traffic.
I'm not sure how hazard lights work actually. Is there seperate relay for left and right side? If that's the case, another switch can be added to turn both of them on.
My 2004 V11 Nero Corsa had a flasher module. I know, because I had to get a heavy duty flasher, when I added the trailer.
I haven't looked very deep into the V7 Special, so don't know on it.
