Might be a nice deal, once I know the price.

Brother-in-law stumbled across this.

Some of you may even know the previous owner.  If so shhhh!

Widow of the bikes owner had it in a bog somewhere in the Scottish Isles or under a tarp someplace in New England.  Runs but fuel tank seam sprung a leak. 

Sorry I shaded out important information, but if its above my price range I'll post contact info.

Good luck with that. Does not look like it will take a lot of work. Looking forward to the "getting er roadworthy" thread.  :thumb:

Yeah, sounds like the mechanic trying to "fix er up" and raise the price.  Which is good for the widow of course but not for the road worthy budget.

I'll post the location and price when I know it.

Looks to be. Note the decal below the gas cap and above the digitally blacked out sticker. As well as the laser etching on the head guards. My 03 EVT hydro has same defining marks (as well as same colored tank).
