But sometimes, the roads are clear enough to ride and road crap washes off!

Bwahh, that looks cold!

I got a wonderful ride in today, too. I have picks but things aren't working right to post them.

The morning began with the area being fogged in. I didn't care, dressed up and rode. As soon as I got to the mountains I climbed out of the fog into glorious sunshine! I did about 100 miles today and loved every kilometer 😀

Nick,

You are a hero of the first rank!  Love the sounds captured on your video.  Need to play more with my GoPro.

Foggy morning here on the Gulf Coast of TEXAS.  Took the Trumpet out, glad I had a heavy long sleeve shirt on at 8 AM.  By 11 AM:  roasting here, 80F and intense sun.  Still better than July.

Now remind me again, what is that white stuff?

Sudden frost here this morning completely wiped out our flock. Darn.

Too Funny!

Our northern flocks are heeling over too. I watched a flock of geese take off across the face of a rising sun this morning. I was sitting on my bike at the top of a long hill that overlooks the city of Harrisburg. The fall colors are in full bloom, the city was quiet, the air cool but not cold...just enough that my coffee's steam could be seen drifting away in the light breeze. The birds waddled across the parking lot, started fluttering and running, then were off, honking over the city across the face of the sun. They started out pointed north until they were all airborne and flying strongly then turned and pointed their vee to south.
