 Dusty

Don't know. Probably flaking chrome...   :boozing:

I bought one 2 years ago for $13, and it has been well worth the price. Have used it on water drain lines (kitchen sink plugged), Gas tank on an old Kawasaki and a couple other things. If you hold it right you can even look in your ear for earwax buildup.

Looks like a little erosion on the piston crown... might be detonation and or pre ignition... Or just the way it is....

Charlie is going to have an aneurysm but the magnet attachment is too big for a spark plug hole. I don't think I have a magnet to fit. Need to head over to Harbor Freight one of these days...

In the meantime I need to stick it in my ear to check the wax.

Well, the price of the OP's product has shot up to almost $18 today.

No doubt, the hundreds of thousands of Guzzi owners in the US have flocked to Amazon for buying one and driven the price up.

Considering that comparable products use to cost thousands is a few dollars really a problem?

There are hundreds of similar cameras available on Amazon, some more expensive, some less.

To me the bore looks to be nikisil. Looks very much like my mk3 LeMans bore through my borescope.
Small chips are not unusual in that area.
Hone marks at 90,000 miles? It sure isn't chrome.
My opinion only, done the magnet test yet?

He has to find a smaller magnet or go through the exhaust port.

Do I need to get my bike drunk before going in the exhaust port? I mean we've only been dating for a couple months...

0.3 MP is not a lot of resolution, maybe not enough to see cylinder bore honing lines, etc.

You might be lucky to make out if there's a piston.

The waiting is the hardest part.  I just got notice that my unit, ordered Oct. 31, has shipped, expected arrival between Nov. 29 and Dec. 15.  I suppose it's coming from the Far Far Far East.

I was lucky to catch mine on Prime. I think it took a day or two, and delivered on the weekend.
