Has anyone upgraded the EV’s charging system with this kit (or any other for that manner)?

What do you think about it?

You already have that system. The noted systems are for old models with the Bosch system.

The 98EV had a rather dodgy voltage regulator from the factory. Both of ours failed. One got very weak, the other just dead. Replaced with the Ducati regulator from Euro-Moto-Electric. Almost mostly a plug and play. Far superior.

Take note of the special instructions.
It's very important to get a good Voltage reference.
