Is it a Trek Safari? One of my buddies has one and it's sloooow but functional. I have a Mitsubishi Fuso with a flatbed camper which gets around pretty well but it's a 4.9 liter with a 6 spd Aisin transmission.
That looks like a class C, Jhrodd.
Yes. I'm fascinated by Safari RVs, never owned one. Maybe ownership would fix that. http://www.ebay.com/itm/302134813068?_trksid=p2055119.m1438.l2649&ssPageName=STRK%3AMEBIDX%3AIT
Thanks, it's just my work truck with a camper on the back....
Randy loves his Safari, he drives it all the way to East Texas a couple times a year (from Bellingham) I also have a '91 Fuso with 320,000 miles on it that still runs like a top.
Can't see the model number any idea of its age? Possibly a 4BD1-T (t is for turbo charged) 3.9 litre not sure what class A means and you'll have to define powerful enough. Dry lined motor rings and sleeves easily obtainable and relatively cheap for a diesel. Fitted to 5-7tonne (capacity trucks) from factory. It won't be fast redline will be around 3500rpm and a fairly industrial motor. The SASR like them
Murray is that a 6 wheel drive Landrover 110/Defender??
