New Moto Guzzi Door Mats Available Now
I would think the MGS 01 would be fastest, it was sold to the public.
"The engine produces a generous 110 horsepower at 7,500 rpm and 80 pound-feet of torque at 6,400 rpm plenty of power that can push the bike close to the 150 mph mark."
tell us truthfully , how fast will the X21 go ? You are among friends Dusty
The "Fastest" "production" Guzzis have all been spine frame bikes. Newest being about 12 years old. Interesting...1993 Daytona 1000 - 145 mph1994 Sport 1100 - 143 mph1997 Daytona RS - 150 mph2002 V11 LeMans - 139 mph2004 MGS-01 - 150+ mph.Too bad a successor to that line does not live on...
Uhhhh.....you guys know that you're post internet evidence of "speeding".
How can a Griso be faster than a Norge?
yup, you can tell winter is here.
Clearly not the fastest, and possibly no longer in production, but the Norge will hit 127 MPH and do 0-60 MPH in 4.69 seconds. http://www.government-fleet.com/news/story/2014/10/2015-my-mich-police-motorcycle-test-results-released.aspx
are you feelin lucky kid?
Anecdotally about 250kph on the main straight of the island on a ride day with a mug rider that is not very familiar with the track. A good run through turn 11/12 would have you hooking sixth about a 1/3 of the way down the main straight and piling on a solid bit of acceleration. Although if you got baulked (ride day you don't get to pick and choose) you'd be almost at the finish line. Can't remember what was the max rpm it got too in top I guessing a good 6 or 7000 rpm.
Not if you don't say where it occurred.
Was that you at Broadford ?
The Centauro was clocked at 137mph by cycle world in a shootout between it, a buell, a M900 monster and the T509 speed triple.Keep in mind that the tuning on these (and the RS) was crap off of the show room floor.
Of all the Guzzi's I have owned and ridden ('78 850 Le Mans, '02 V11 Le Mans, '93 SP1000-III, '83 850 Le Mans-III), my '98 Centauro GT is the quickest and fastest by far.
I would concur. Hit 5 grand and it would take off like a rocket. Got me in lots of trouble!
The ambassador that set those speed records was not a production bike. scroll down and see the picture ( looks amazing!)
I bought the fastest guzzi as my first guzzi, wow
