Very enjoyable time again this year, not quite as much rain as in the past.  I rode down with friends
Dave Bodner and Ron Paci this year, we were fighting a headwind most of the way and got a little wet a few
times but nothing serious.

Saturday Mike and Nate Jones invited Ron and I on a little hike up nearby Buffalo Mountain. I wasn't exactly
prepared - still wearing my Kevlar jeans and motorcycle boots - but I made it to the summit (3951'? - about
a 1 mile hike, all uphill). Well worth the effort for the view! The rest of the day was much more relaxed. A very
diverse group of bikes rolled in late in the day - everything from bobbed and chopped Harley Panheads to KTMs
and BMW Airheads.

Sunday I headed home alone. Up 311 through Paint Bank to White Sulphur Springs and then 92, 28 past Cass Scenic RR and Seneca Rocks, etc.
When I turned onto 92, I finally got a glorious tailwind and it felt like the Convert gained 10 hp.

Nice photos Charlie.    You seem to always be on a route that I'd like to take. 

It was great seeing so many of my dear friends.  Many of us go way back - at least 2-3 decades.   It brings back so many wonderful memories.    Some of us even toasted Cleveland Steve with a bottle of what?? - why  Crown Royal of course.   As Steve would say when you didn't want any more liquor ........"just wet the lips".

Although I was not involved with the t-shirts - I doubt any are available because they were only ordered according to pre-registration info.   At times previous rallies  had numerous unsold t-shirts left over from several years of rallies and that's money that could have been used  for other items so shirts are  purchased according to the info on the registration form.

Ron --- I hope I didn't step on anyone's toes with responding but I just relayed the info that was given out at the rally when someone was asking Joan/Bob about it.
