Convert Handlebar Controls
« on: January 19, 2017, 09:58:24 AM »
I read a post some time ago that I cannot locate. It listed actual part numbers that some one who had taken right and left handle bar controls off of a Kawasaki that he had installed on his convert as an update. This included the master cylinder and electrical. I can not locate this post. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks, Tom

Nothing wrong with the o.e. Brembo master cylinder, so I would change that unless yours is non-working. Even then I wouldn't use Kawasaki stuff. IMO, long-term it might be best to stick with Brembo.

Switches are easy (but again not Kawasaki). This what I used on a customer's Convert:

Greg Bender sells an "easy plug-in" adapter for the left switch and wiring to convert the right switch. http://thisoldtractor.com/for_sale_wiring_harness_tonti_v1000_i_convert.html
