I looked up the specs.  There seems to be some confusion as to whether it's 67 hp or 67 kW.  The latter would be impressive.  The weight's not bad for a 1000, being in the low 400s.  It looks like a fun motorcycle.

I'm confused on the HP. I'm seeing 92 max HP which is about average.

Nice Bike

I was just looking at the new Multi Strada...160 HP at 9K and enough torque to pull your arms off.

From Cycle World which gave it a  Best Sport-Touring Bike, 2005 Ten Best Awards.
http://www.cycleworld.com/2012/09/27/ducati-multistrada-1000s-best-used-bikes

Basic specs: A 992cc, 90-degree V-Twin all-rounder that weighs 487 lb. with a full 5.3-gallon tank and that made 76.7 hp at 7500 rpm and 58.5 ft.-lb. of torque at 6000 on the CW dyno. That output pushed the 1000S to an 11.87-sec./111.32-mph quarter-mile and a top speed of 131 mph. It was available in both a standard and an S-model with ohlins suspension.
Why it won: As its name implies, the Multistrada was able to serve many diverse riding needs, from sport-touring the category in which it won to adventure-touring to a bit of backroad scratching to plain old standard, everyday riding. The Multistrada was introduced in 2003 but received some needed improvements in 2005 that allowed it to fully live up to its billing. It then went on to receive two displacement bumps one in 2007, another in 2010 and a host of upgrades that have helped it earn Ten Best awards in 2010 and 11, and an Honorable Mention this year.

That thing's going to sound great with the Termi exhaust system on it.  Plenty of power, too!
