Boomerang Bike
« on: February 26, 2017, 06:52:19 PM »

I sold my 2007 Breva 1100 to a friend a little over a year ago. For various reasons, he was unable to use it much (only about 300 kms) and it was just sitting in his garage. I can't stand the idea of a perfectly good bike sitting unused, so this weekend I drove across southern Ontario and bought it back.

NowI have to decide what the heck I'm going to do with it.

We have a term in the states for doing this Nick . Eganed , as in Peter Egan , a journo known for buying back bikes .

As for what to do with it , maybe just ride it  :bike-037:

I had a V11 Sport that also boomeranged back. One of my favorite bikes that I've owned and was happy to have it back, but in the end I remembered why I sold it in the first place and it sold again last weekend.  :violent1:

For some reason your foto reminds me of our dog being
taken down to the beach - with its head pushed between
the seats, all excited and looking forward to a run.

I don't s'pose it was making little excited whines of
anticipation - was it?   :azn:

Maurie.

Well, it was definitely wagging its tail today.  I'd forgotten how sprightly the Breva is compared to the Nuovo Falcone and even the Eldo.

You know the old saying- If you love something let it go. If it comes back to you it is yours forever. Guess it's your bike. Enjoy!

I keep looking at Craigslist hoping to see my 99 Bassa so I could buy it back. Has not happened yet.
