Nice (but lightly wrecked) T3 bargain on Facebook - $1000
« on: February 27, 2017, 12:52:03 PM »
The ad on "Moto Guzzi Bikes & Parts" reads:

Wrecked 850t/t3
$1,000
Trappe, MD (21673)
I had a really bad day on Friday, tore up my shoulder and beloved Guzzi. The bike isn't too bad, easy to fix. I think this is the end of my riding days, so I'm first going to offer this in one piece. If nobody wants it, I'll part it out. It is something of a mongrel, being a t3 with a t rear end, but it was well sorted out, and rode just about perfect before the accident. It definitely needs the following; fork tubes, handlebars, front fender, grab rail, headlight bucket, lens and reflector.I think the hard to find chrome headlamp ring could be massaged straight, as it isn't creased, and the shift lever could be straightened. The engine has iron lined cylinders with 89mm venolias, otherwise stock and in good order. I recently went through the transmission and replaced a few bearings, and shimmedit just right, shifts perfectly. One short season on a rebuilt u-joint, tires, and freshly turned rear drum.happy to answer any questions. The bike is in Trappe, md, on the eastern shore

Charlie, I can't seem to link or share this info and pics to some friends on Facebook who could possibly be interested. If you have it on FB, would you send it to me in a PM? Steve Lehman. Thanks.
