Well Pete did all the searching, the leg work, the questioning & the bargaining for me and, as he stated, has even offered to collect it for me.....so this morning I put down the deposit on a Griso 1200SE 

Guess I need to change my signature line now....

Pete has repeatedly proved himself to be  mighty fine fella. (as a recent parcel arriving on my doorstep attests)

I was thinking I took an Imp for a test drive once after my Humber 80 rolled over. Now I remember it was a Riley Elf, a pimped up mini. Wasn't that impressed and bought a Humber 90, much more room on the back seat which was a requirement back then. Don't ask me why - lol.

My parents helped me buy a Mini as my first car. Probally with the wishful thinking that there wasn't enough room in there for 'entertaining'! Ha !

As one of them later said, 'You could have wiped the footprints off the ceiling.......'

Nothing ever seems to be too much trouble for him... I'm waiting for when I can do something to help him one day, but the old bastard is so damn competent that it'll probably never happen. But I'm ready.

Hey Pete, you could have mine but I may need it for a while yet - I'm hoping.

Watched a movie last night called GET OUT that had a novel method of curing the ageing process. Good flick and worth a look IMHO.

Are some Roo the other night and liked it. Apart from the smell when I opened the pack it tasted like beef to me. Yet to sis out Guzzi dealers but will be in town for a couple more weeks.

The Imp was a mighty fine little vehical and went like the clappers, but it was no good in New Zealand.  It was built and tuned to use high octane gas ( 100 to 105 RON) but with our 3rd world crap it knocked itself to pieces in no time flat.

The old Austin A40 Somerset I had proved suitably roomy Kev. Boy I would like that car back.
