Looking for parts for a 2000 California Jackyl 1100 cc
« on: April 21, 2017, 05:11:26 PM »
Hey,
I'm based in Portland, Oregon and i recently picked up a nice 2000 California Jackal.  Except it's missing some parts, and a shop manual.

Know where i can get a replacement tank cap with lock?  This one is busted.  Also the exhaust pipes were chopped.  Where can i get some loud pipes to weld on?  Ive currently got some pipes clamped on so yeah, they're basically open pipes.  Not legal I'm guessing...

Also the signals are screwed.  Want to fix em bout not sure where to start.  Where can i get a shop manual in english for this bike?  Also, not like i need another project for this beast but theres no ignition either!  Where can i get an ignition?  Any thoughts, help, comments, appreciated!

What do you mean that there is no ignition? I see wires. Are you missing the coils? Or do you just have no spark?

I have a stock set of mufflers someone punched out. $100+Shipping.  Might part with a tank lock, but I need the ignition so would need to make extra keys up. Let me know what you need for the ignition, I have someof that stuff.

Does anyone else wonder why the ignition would be missing and the tank cap needing replacement?

Put it back to stock and ride it like you stole it.

The fellow from Maryland runs them on his Blue Sport 1100.  They sound and run good and not a lot of cash (more Gu$$i content).

Cherry Bombs remind me of my youth...along with all the other glass-packs: Thrush, Magnaflow, Smitties, etc. The Cherry Bombs were cool because they were so visible beneath a jacked-up car (no sense hiding that boss dual exhaust system). Makes me think of drive-ins, foosball, and street racing...

Most likely a bit warm or a salvage bike.
Years back I remember a Convert from IN w/2 into 1 and a cherry bomb, sounded great.
