Up to our family cemetery in Bealeton, VA on Monday to decorate the ancestor's graves with the rest of my family, then to Culpeper National Cemetery to decorate my Mom's and Dad's graves, then off for a week of fishing, clay shooting, hiking, and good eatin' with my brother and sister ....

Always like Memorial Day.   Something "grounding" about it.

Going to the Springfield mile then to the ceremony at the national cemetery here in Springfield Mo. where my father, a WWII vet is buried along with veterans all the way back to the war between the states. They put on a nice ceremony with a brass band and all. Then the Greene county republicans serve ice cream. Real Americana stuff🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸
