First tires . Continental RaIII both bikes . EBC HH brake pads both bikes . Upgraded suspension, Race tech gold valves & set sag on forks & Icon rear shocks V7II . V7/850 changed fork oil & set sag . Icon. Rear shocks on order . BIG HORNS , both bikes . Brighter headlight & led flashing brake light MkII Heated grips on V7/850 . Accessorie outlets 12v fused to batt for heated gear Both bikes . Volt meter on MkII ,small alternator . Sheepskin 4 seat . H-B hard bags . Crash bars . Small wind screens . Oh Center stands too

Kev, the 2" drop pegs on your 2013 V7.  Do you notice a big difference in comfort?  I am considering adding them to my 2014 V7.  If you don't mind me asking, what is your inseam measurement?  I'm about a 33"

I've got a 32" inseam and I'm in my 50's but I've not been kind to my knees between Karate, Skiing, Snowboarding etc.

I have always cramped up with some ease on longer days. I mean, it might be hours 100 or 200 miles before they start aching and popping when I straighten them, but they do it on bikes like I currently own. And once my knees start that it happens quicker and quicker on any given day.

The pegs definitely helped. It will never make my V7 as comfy as my last RK with the Police seat, but it's definitely better. And last summer I had no problem touring on it, though I still probably didn't exceed a 300-400 mile day. But that does all I need it too.

The V7III came with a longer reach to the pegs in the first place (and pegs that were closer to the ground) so I went a different direction on that for even more comfort.

2022 Stone, just some bolt-ons:

MG center stand (must have)
MG engine guard (eh...)
HB C-bow "street soft" bags (got to have something to carry stuff in)
HB rear rack (gives me something to grab when getting it on the center stand and to carry/strap on a pack ot roll if I need to)

Some mods carried out to  my V7 MkII Stornello since buying in 2019 with 3000 Kms on clock.
Beetle map.
YSS PD emulator valves for forks installed and damper rods drilled out .
12 mm pre load set on fork springs . Triple clampes lowered 12 mm on tubes .
Hagon rear shocks installed with dampening adjustment .
Rotated rear arrow  2:1 muffler so closer in  by 20 mm requiring some  bending modification to rear mount bracket.
Converted spoked rims to tubeless using Sikaflex 291 marine sealant and 90 degree valve stems .
Spaced out right hand foot peg and brake assy 8 mm to give a bit more  foot clearance from Arrow 2:1 exhaust.
Installed Honda Gold wing foot pegs these are wider ,slightly lower  and rubber big improvement over ally originals.
Installed cylinder head temp gauge / voltmeter just out of interest.
Installed water trap with drain in breather return line back to sump. Get a lot of water from this especially in winter doing 20 km commute one way but even in summer amazing how much water is produced .
Installed usb / phone charger receptacle on handle bars .
Installed two led driving lights just below headlight mainly for visibility .

OK, so I made a few minor farkles. Here's bone stock:

Garmin Zumo added and wired to the underseat connector so it's on switched power


Added black fly screen just for looks. Added black Pazzo clutch and brake levers. One, the unfinished originals just looked a little out of place and two, I tend to use my whole hand on the big levers and so the smaller levers make it easier for me to use just one or two fingers to control.

Also removed all the tank stickers because damn.

I listed all I did to the Mello Yello Stornello above, but a recent change is I'm PULLING the 420mm Hagons off the rear and replacing them with
390mm BiTubo shocks with the external reservoir, and raising the forks in the TT.

I'm sick and tired of the extreme lean on the SS, and having the rear tire sit on the ground when on CS. I had it warming up on the CS today, and for the second time accidentally bumped the shifter popping it in gear. Today it launched across the garage. No damage, but its time for a change. The extra height is immaterial, I don't do more than gravel or dirt roads. Will probably change my fork oil too.

For S&Gs, I’d consider inspecting your driveshaft u-joint when you have a chance. Ever since I installed the longer shocks on mine, the reliability and condition of the small block driveshaft has been on my mind.

I have a '23 V7 Stone Special Edition, so I guess this model still qualifies. 

- replaced the large US-spec tail light with the Euro-spec tail light:  looks much better
- put red pinstripes on the black wheels:  looks
- replaced the OEM Arrow mufflers with full-length reverse cone Agostini mufflers, dB killers removed:  sound
- added the UPMAP tune, open airbox lid kit, to go with the Ago mufflers:  performance
- replaced the stock single horn with dual Hella disc horns:  safety
- replaced the OEM seat with a solo seat with custom upholstery:  comfort and looks
- added a sump guard and crash bars:  protection
- added a dark tinted windscreen:  looks

I R&R'd the Swing Arm and Bevel Box and inspected the DS 2 years ago at 7-8K miles. All was perfect. The bike has mostly sat at my house in Virginia as I was mostly overseas the last 2 years, and when CONUS was based out of KY.

Though the longer shocks and fork springs raised the static height by 1.5", it only ended up .75" when seated. These Enduro shocks were EXCELLENT, and were dual spring giving a very soft ride. Due to my firm commitment to keep both wheels on the ground, and VERY limited off or rough roads, the angles weren't too bad.
