This should be a lot of fun.  Looking forward to meeting everyone.  We got out for a couple hundred miles yesterday with the MEBC group on a few of the roads planned and it was a beautiful mid 70 degrees.

5 Scuras?  That would be darker than an eclipse.  I know one other Scura owner in SoCal.  He's on V11LeMans, but I don't know if he's on here.

^^^^I don't think I've seen Rox on here.. Seriously fast guy Richard Rodriquez has one, too. I think Rox rides with him some times. Haven't seen Richard for quite a while, though.

Well, it looks like the newer style bikes are showing up. I have a question?

I plan to show up to this little get together, But I'm torn between which bike to take???

My EV, never been out and about for more than about 60 miles at a time, would love to take it just to see how we get along on long rides.

My Eldo is a proven ride. Been to many rides with it in the 35 or so years I've had it, most have been about 300 miles or so one way or less.

Soooo....... Just would like to know???? Would you kids like to see a old worn and a bit tattered Loop, or a fairly clean EV?????

My Loop and EV are both staring at me with the "take me" look!!

Since I never really bonded with the EV I had here for a couple of years, and given that it only has about a 135 mile range, I'd rather see the Eldo.  But that's just me.

I'll be on my Norge, so there is that.

I'd say take which ever one speaks to you the loudest!!   There were a few cool vintage Guzzi's in Datil last weekend. :1:   Some ridden...some on a trailer, but who cares?!? They made it!

I doubt very much if I will be the winner of ANYTHING!! (lol) - - especially if ol' "Griso-George" from Sequim, WA shows up!!

Well, the "shake-down" ride for the ol' Yellow Horse (my '98 Centauro GT)... was the recent New Mexico Guzzi Rally in Datil, and that was about 729 miles round trip! - - No issues, as I got off the bike for gas every 85-100 miles or so...she ran "flawlessly!"

Yes, Show Low is a HUGE speed trap...and we took it easy.   My tank holds 4.8 gallons...at 36 MPG, that's about 173 miles per tank full.  My ass starts to tell me it's time to get OFF at about 85-100 miles, and that suits me just fine.  Most of the time, I cruised at 70-75 mph...and that also is fine by me... :1:
