Back Amoung The Riding
« on: July 11, 2017, 07:04:52 AM »
Six weeks ago I finally gave in and had my right knee replaced. A much needed upgrade. Just went for my first ride on the Stelvio since the operation. Man did it feel good to blast along down the road rattling valves booming exhaust and all. I had been doing a an outing once and a while on my wife's MP3 scooter but it wasn't the same. I feel better now.

Yea man, I can testify to that! Having ms I'm no stranger to the VA hospital system. It's service connected .anyway I rode up to the MPLS hospital, before I had a sidecar, and the doc noticed how great I was feeling. After I told him it was because I had ridden he told me to keep doing it. I asked him to put that in writing, he declined. Hope that new knee gives you many more miles!

^^^^ Thanks, Huzo. I ran some errands on it today. A guy chased me down, and asked what year it was. I *like* the little Monza..

That's the combustion chamber of the turbo shaft. It is supposed to be on fire. You just don't usually see it but the case and fairing fell off.
