Doing it in Italian improves that show 100%.   They do a good job syncing the Italian overdubbing to the actor's lip movements, too.   

Substitute "Capo Porco" for Boss Hogg and "Caporegime Roscoe" as sheriff ... get Sophia Loren to play the girl .... some nice Southern Italy scenery and an old Alfa Romeo painted orange, and you'd have a hit, I guarantee it ....
