I don't know, I just push google. Once I get it to upload, that's as far as I get, but thanks for the info on the account thing

I tried to use Google pix one time, and it didn't work. Try uploading a picture off your computer or phone. You don't need an account with imgbb.

He might be using Chrome. What is the desktop icon for Chrome? Knowing his browser might help to solve his problem?

Huzo, what does the button/icon look like that you press with your mouse look like to get to the internet??

I use an I pad and my double talking fast mouthed computer guy has told me to push Safari but it works through Google or some such. I have no choice, I'll have to see a computer bloke or similar. Sorry to mess you all around.

Testing thru google chrome on iPhone

Should be a fluffy dog

Edit: It works for me...

Well, if google chrome doesn't work, I am sure safari will as that is my main web browser on my iPhone.

Thank you everyone who helped me through, special thanks to Timmy the Hog but all were great to help, a couple were very close and one might have been spot on. Regardless, your advice was freely given and in the right spirit. I appreciate it a lot, amazing how one can get used to giving advice and then having to, ummmm "re-jig" when about to sink, sure makes you realise how little you can know about some things and still manage to exist. Just as an aside, I reckon I could live with that Imp engined Enfield! Also the dam at the bottom is the Mosson Dam, South of Lake Geneva (Lausanne). Is on the agenda for this year on way down to Sicily. Missed it by bugger all in 2016, didn't know it was there. I saw it on the Tour de France.

Glad you had it all figured out!

I just hope my advice were helpful and not confusing...hah...

Figure you guys help me out with all my bike issues in the past and more so in the future, this is the least contribution I can do...hah...

If it had gone a bit deeper AKA coding, it would not be pretty...

again, glad it has worked out for you  :thumb: and now when we spam  :gotpics:...heh you will know what to do  :afro:

I probably still won't. I'm the classic guy who learns to press "q" on the keyboard but that doesn't teach him how to press "w" !

When it comes time for you to upload a photo,,, and WG gives you a prompt to select from your computer,,, you know exactly which folder you're looking for and where it is on your computer,,, simply double click the image and upload the photo.

      Clear as mud,lol.

      Good luck

      Kelly

OK Just were does WG give me a prompt to select from my computer? I do not see a prompt to select from my computer.  So  I opened an account with imgbb and I have uploaded my photos to them but cannot successful use either "insert image" or use "insert hyperlink" to upload to WG. I used to use insert image when using photo bucket but that method does not work. I am no freaking idiot and understand how to use a computer. Crap I recently wiped my hard drive clean and installed Sierra on it. I transferred all my files and apps using thumb drives. I didn't want to use time machine cause it was too cluttered.  I cleaned 100 Gigs off my memory doing that clean install and yet I cannot figure how to up load to WG? Aghhh

Mate, I'm as thick as a plank and I was totally lost with no hope. Then went and got Google chrome put on my I pad and bingo! I'll explain it because I'm really clueless so it should be simple. You press the reply button as always and type in your crap... then under that where it says "add image to your post" press that line...you will be prompted to "choose images to upload"... you will then get the option where to choose from, I choose photo library then camera roll...as you press them a little blue tick will appear, I only choose 2 at a time...when you've chosen your shots press "done" ( and that's where I used to hit the wall"), once you press "done" you will be taken back to the reply page and a shit load of data will appear under your reply.... press "post" and that's it!

I figured it out finally. I used imgbb and went to "embeded code" and used "image url" that I was able worked. Thanks
I would still love to find out how to do it straight from my computer. There does not seem to be an icon on WG that links to my computer. If so someone put a picture up of the icon!!
