That black 150cc looks sooo-oo good!

Think about it... Tow behind the camper or SUV ...possibilities are endless...

This is just fyi.  Don't own one, never ridden one.  Buy/ride at own risk.

I think I've seen these or something very similar at the OBX, running slow enough to hold up traffic for a good bit. Not sure if that was machine or operator.

Also it puts you REALLY low to the ground like your head at/near bumper heights, but unlike a motorcycle you're trapped.

I dunno.

And notice that's it's configured like the moribund "Elio" was going to be .... but with 1/4 of the features and a higher price!

Now THAT'S market reality .....

There's a similar 50cc version that's being used by some of the tourism operators here in Las Vegas to take visitors for runs through Red Rock Canyon and such. They get a line of 20 of these things taking up the bicycle path next to the road, and the cyclists (who are faster) can't even use something intended for non-motorized vehicles.

Even with a 150, they'd be too slow to be safe when two adults are on board.

I don't l now the HP of that 150, but my XL125 makes around 8 to 10 hp weighs in around 240lbs and I plan my riding more like a bicycle then my bigger bikes. When pulling out into traffic you just don't go and gun it, you look for a bigger hole in the traffic! Maybe a good little car for beach community's, much cooler then a golf cart.

The GY6 engine can be hopped up for more performance.  Way better than the 50cc model.  You'd be better off on a MP3.  :thumb:

This is a converted MP3.   Jay Leno has a video of the builder of 2 of these.

If the Scootcoupe had at least a 400cc motor and built somewhat like a Piaggio MP3...that would be KOOL !!  Now getting to the drive train for maintenance might  be a headache, unless the whole body just lifts up from the rear like a hood on a car.
