I hope you can back out of the deal Rick. From what you say it seems you've not had possession of the bike so legally I would think you could.

Well they're gonna get a new gearbox from Italy and fix it. So if they manage to get everything right I'll take it . But yeah it's kinda illegal to sell lemons here bit I don't wanna go down that road if I have to. 1tb v7s are a bit rare here so I wouldn't be able to find another one

As I said, if the bearings were squealing its buggered. I've been here before with other bikes in the last ten years. We aren't allowed to use the word that rhymes with 'Duck' on this board but I feel like saying it often.............

Is that an Agostini muffler I spy?

Yeah, it's got Ago's, stock mufflers, three seats, screens, a rack, all the original 'Racer' tat, heated grips, it's mapped and sorted, more probably, can't remember. Serviced by me from virtually new. It's a good unit and it doesn't have a buggered gearbox the will be topped up with oil and then the purchaser told it's been replaced, (Cynical? Moi?)
