Convert lowers

I am trying to buy Convert frame lowers and am wondering why some one would need them, other than someone like me who welded on them.I mean except for rust they don't wear out. Ideas?

Wants floor boards because of damage,  wants sidestand bracket, needs linkage, has money to spend  has a T3 and wants floor boards instead of pegs
